Interesting Social Experiment

I grab one piece of gum for me and one piece of gum for Tarzan. We chewed for exactly the same amount of time (18 minutes). I made him spit it out and give his to me because the mouth noises were too much for me to handle. As I am walking to the trash I notice the stark diference between the two.
.
How is it possible that mine is still a pretty shade of pink and his is white? Additionally how is it that his is bigger?

If you chewed for 22 minutes yours would have been bigger.

I will repeat experiment in CA to see if the enviornment impacts the outcome at all

this is quite the experiment!

wow, I have no idea. Did not realize that gum could self-generate when overly masticated...

He probably chewed so hard he chewed all the color out. When I first say the pic the gum looked like little flowers.

I understand the lack of color, more spit, chewing harder, etc. But why is his bigger?

I think we need to do experiments all over the US.

Tarzan must be a more efficient chewer and produces more saliva than you.
