Last night was the ASSRT's President's Reception for the 60th Annual Meeting. One of the best I've been to! Great job Susan!!
MJM and REM had a blast at the 60's themed party











Highlights of the Evening:

We got to meet Dr Stewart Bushong (A well-known author of hundreds of radiology text books who is a fun-loving, medical physist and probably best known for his crazy mustache)

And ended the limo ride (we had Wendy's French Fries and Frosty's)

Good times had by all!!!

Me, "darn that he had to die now. Its a shame that he didnt die in his prime like Princess Di. People will remember him as wierd"

Me, "no I'm in a shell. And my news sources aren't as good as yours. I am going to send Tarzan a message if he knows"

Me: " Geez, it looks like he might be interested. I think that I am going to notify my family to see if they know and how they react"

Hands

Yesterday Tami sent me several pictures of lace. My epiphany as I was selecting the appropriate size and design was that her hands looked just like my mothers.
Now, I have often thought my hands look just like my mom's. But today I looked down and my hands looked dry and aged beyond both Tami's and my moms.

So, I started obsessing around 1pm. By 9 pm I started my moisturizing treatment.

Other options: she is dyslexic and thinks the the L is a J, her manager created a log in for her before she started and has been too busy to fix it, she doesnt work with people who care about her and push the issue for the name to be spelled correctly, she is in a witness protection program and they were all out of common names

As shocking as it may be, I did break a 20 year spell and have a hamburger (In and Out less), as further shocking as it may be this post is not about my eating it. It is about the culture and "secret menu". If you think ordering at Starbucks is difficult, you haven't hung out with Southern California people who start spewing the an odd language that isn't even on the menu.

Good Viewing Area

On a recent walk with my father we encountered a great view of Tempe Town Lake. We both watched in awe at the beauty surrounding us on an great Arizona morning.Then we walked further on the path and encountered a labeled area. Now, keep in mind the previous view was not only good but great and without the sign notifying us.
Curiousity peaked we kept looking.

Hmmmmmm, not just a "good viewing area" but a good to know

My blackberry often takes pictures without my permission, sometimes the amusement is great at the end of the day when I see what has been taken without my knowing it. This is one of those that created great entertainment for me, guess the universe wanted me to blog Susan.

And no I do not intend on getting the blackberry flip to prevent this random photo taking or "butt calling".
