Disney Crossover

MJM brings the child out in all of us.  Her love of Disney, the passion around true love as well as knowing every google image out there of Ariel is amazing.

This crossover photo may be my favorite!

Summer 2013

MJM
The most responsible 17 year old I know.  Working hard at Sun Splash and owning the first tan of her life.  She is beginning to appreciate fitness, is incredibly disciplined and confident.  Sweet, honest and her faith in mankind warms us all.

REM
In 3 days (if all goes well) she will be the next licenses driver in the house.  Her summer is not much different than her school year-consumed with school work and basketball. Smart, funny and always pushing the edge.  She understands the pulse of people with just one glance (or text).

CEM
4 days shy of 10 and a half this kid continues to amaze all of us.  She can quote every funny commercial (and Kevin Hart) on TV, she is intuitive, competitive and super fashionable.  I am so happy that she still wants me to her about my life every night when she goes to bed.

Pre Fourth of July Pool Party

When its 122 degrees out (Tami has photo proof one degree short of this) the best place to be is in the 85 degree pool!

The best kind, or so I'm told

It's no secret I hate ice chewing.

No I despise it, I go from nice pleasant Laura to the Anti-friendly Satan head spinning chick if the crunching noise is within 2 feet.

My family even sent me pics last week of them chewing in my absence. Even that caused such me such disruption that I failed to save the pics (that never happens).
All of that said, I do realize that those that I love that do like this activity, this would be ideal ice.

Happy Fathers Day

A couple weeks ago the HR Director I work with said,"You know I am impressed with your commitment to people and the strong moral fiber that you use in decision making - you must get that from your dad (she often gets parables, davidisms and lauraisms that have developed from davidisms)."
Later in the conversation with that same employee she said "you know what else I love?  Noone can tell a story like you do (following an hysterical recount of traveling with a large family and having to be the first one to sleep or you were stuck with the floor or annoyance of someone's snoring)"

I told her, "yeah I get that from my dad too"
Love this man more than any blog could describe.  I am who I am because of your  parenting and goal to make us all functional adults!

My Man of Steel

930 am viewing for his Fathers Day gift.

So lucky to have this man in me and my family's life!!
