Today my phone was out of service unbeknownst to me. When I rebooted at 4:09 the first of thirteen messages that came across was one from REM that said, "what we do when the power is out and we are bored" (side story a power plant in Apache Junction was on fire causing a 6 hour black out).
Later at the swim meet (delayed by an hour waiting for power to run the chlorine pumps) CEM won second place for individual breast stroke and first for team relay.
Last night at Bass Pro (yes I know, again) our waitress (a beautiful funny blonde named Danielle) came up to our table. After taking the drink order the concensus of 4 out of the 6 was that she looked and acted just like Amy.
As one of the holdouts, I skeptically looked as she reapproached the table. Yes indeed she was her doppleganger (except that I am always the tall one). So much do that I agreed to a photo with my much less attractive hair.
I have been wanting to blog about my sippy cup for a while (this is my attempt at drinking more water-32 oz, I'm averaging 10 fill ups a day)
I am on day 22 and spent a lot of time emptying my bladder (which is where I am sitting drafting this blog now )
My mom gave me a great Bodysuit yesterday that she had struggled with the snaps on. The snaps really aren't that bad, but I have decided the move over technique works better with frequent bathroom trips.
And yes Megan, I am wearing Capris -again. There was an extreme heat warning in Phoenix and I was not interested in skirt sans nylons.
Last year while at a particularly cold movie theatre (yes I have never been colder anywhere than indoors during an Arizona summer) Ash bought me a bright pink Reebok jacket (it was on sale ;) )
The jacket's home is in the car and has saved me from plenty a cold places.
I today was prepared for a 40 degree watching of Popper's Penguins. CEM and Raea however were not. It wasn't until the last ten minutes (insert teeth chattering here ) that they begged for me to remove and they to share (insert cool mom [figuratively] here).
