Do not hang your purse here

Just one more reason to not carry a purse

i had to losing my wallet to find my license

So my license has been missing for some time. I realized it on April 15 when I needed to show it to go into the suns game. Its been on my list to replace but I had that thing in the back of my head that said maybe it would just show up if I waited. (I did however call security at work to see if I left it on the copy machine).

Last night after a movie and chai tea Kim and I head to the car. Hmmm 16 miles until empty. I go for my wallet to make sure I am ready for gas station and it is missing (damn do I have to lose again with Kim in tow?)

Kim takes the trek back to the couches to look while I look in the car.

She comes skipping back. "you'll never believe what the guy who found your wallet located". Hmmm stranger found the license in a pocket I never use.

All well that ends well

Tis the Season

It's Arizona, It's April and It's hot. It is way too early to turn the AC on so it means open windows, blaring fan and kids sleeping the wrong direction (in the wrong bed) to get the most airflow.
.
It also means that when morning comes you cuddle with your sister to keep warm from the airflow and to try and hide from the sunlight.

JennAnn tagged me at 709 am. Unfortunately on was on an international call surrounded by 12 of my peers. So, immediately following the meeting I took the photo (thanks for playing!!).

1. Notice projector in one hand and lap top bag in the other

2. How much do I love my hair today?

3. Yes, I did go to the bathroom before I took the picture because the bladder couldnt wait

It must be Spring

A picture is worth a 1000 words

HCBC you have been tagged.

Here are the rules of the tag:

1. Take a picture of yourself right now.

2. Do not edit the picture in ANY WAY!

3. Upload it to your blog.

4. Tag as little or as many people as you want.

5. Have fun!

(So, who ever reads this first text me - I will then do my picture)

3 Guesses

Give up?
This is my parents house guest's alarm clock.
.
Apparently she has a hard time waking up.
.
Solution? Her brother rigged the alarm clock with a smoke detector. The alarm blares throughout the house every morning to call her out of bed. That would last about a second and a half at my house.

Playing with CEM

The benefit of being the youngest child: great 1:1 time with mom. (And mom will break the rules to climb inside the smelly, sweaty, stinky, slimy McDonald's Playland that is meant for 3-12 year olds.).

When you realize you forgot to take the tags off

The helmet was purchased 7 years ago (the only thing that makes this a Flashback Friday) and used by 2 sisters for 4 seasons before it became a hand me down for CEM this season.

Geez!

Found in my pocket

I found this in my pocket of a new pair of shorts. I am wondering if it is a love note or a to do list.

Crime Scene for sure

Yes this bandaid was found in the home of a mother with a girl (hint the girl turned 1 last week, the mother of this child is also the blog mother)

As the mother of all girls my advice is that some Disney princesses find their way into your medicine cabinet.

Moving Moms

A month ago my sister Tami emailed and asked if I wanted to dance at the Phoenix Suns game with her and a group forming called the MOVING MOMS. In a moment of weakness I responded yes.
.
Dancing is her gig. She was the cheerleader, the dance instructor, the one who has danced at both Super Bowls when they were in Phoenix. Me? I'm the Debate Queen. The cute smart girl.
.
The first night of practice I knew I was in trouble. All moms, all experienced dancers, and the 50 something year old choreographer as described by Tami was "delicious".
.
Little did I know how much I would enjoy this experience. Several practices and sore muscles later we performed tonight. Picture this: 17 women in their 20's through 50's dressed in "mom" garb, entrance is to a super mom song - fade in Party People by Nelly and Fergie (of course the clean version). Then 1.5 minutes of white girls doing hip hop. We didnt do too bad.
.
When the video becomes available I will post a link for your entertainment.
