School Lunch

There is nothing good about lunch at the school cafeteria (ok mom's salad on the right may look good, however it was ham lunch meat cut into squares with no dressing. AND the orange juice in a carton was frozen).
The poor children. What are those choices?

I usually make Vicki's lunch for that very reason...it's all crap and they want $2.25 for it! At least none of them are eating any of the tainted beef that's been recalled!

I would probably go for the uncrustables. Too bad they don't have peanut butter and pickles uncrustables...mmmmm

I agree, school lunch is not what it used to be. My children only eat school lunch once a week. Thursdays is pizza day. They order in.

Remember how good the lunches were at Plain City and West Weber? I didn't believe the kids when we first moved to AZ, when they talked about how awful their lunch was because it had been so good in UT, so finally one day I went to the school and ate with them. Oh dear, I didn't know you could make food taste so awful. So I didn't mind so much making lunches after that. Good Luck Kids, Mom
