Now that you have an appreciation for quality photography, you can help me talk Kim into letting me get the "Sydney Lens" that I will need to take zillions of pictures of our daughter.

May I first say how truly humbled I am to be personally addressed by someone of your high caliber. I bow respectfully in your general direction. Now to answer your question:
1) Samys Camera, Adorama, and B&H Photo do not have baby registries. 2) Not many people would understand why a newborn would need a camera lens. 3) Finally, and most importantly, my "Baby Coordinator" wouldn't allow it.
I could bore you with stories about how this new lens with it's built-in image stabilization and constant aperture would allow three extra stops of "handholdability". Or that this lens is at the top of the list for sharpness. Can you imagine the quality pictures that could be taken of our newborn bundle of joy? I'm welling up just thinking about it.
DT - WOW! I put in a good word for you. It went something like this...
QB - wow. Someone truly wants a lens. Isn't it usually customary for the husband to get the new mom a gift and not vice versa? Tho u know how vein I am, and he has appealed to me. Consider this my endorsement! KT - I am hearing "queen b" chanted throughout my house, this could get tiring QB - LMAO. Give the boy his lens. Stop hogging all the pg fun. KT - it's expensive! QB - U need a coupon. Maybe there is a pg discount?
So, DT, your action item is to find out if there is a pg discount! I've done all I can ;)
