When the Annual Beach Trip started in 2008 MJM was a pre-teen who freaked out at the thought of sand or salt in her mouth. KT saved the day with the mandatory oreos when going to the beach. As described by the self-proclaimed beach babe was that the combination of sweet and chocolate takes away the texture of sand and flavor of salt.
I love the influence that others bring into our family's traditions. In this case not only my children, but also Ruth's children, cannot go to the beach without oreos in packed and in hand.
