Spent the majority of the day with the brilliant 5th grader. First the field trip to the Halle Heart Museum (quickly, quickly) where in addition to learning all about the heart I learned how to play tennis (basically its just an excuse for children to beat each others hands to a red pulp), that a giraffes heart is 23 pounds and that my dress looked like a picnic blanket.
Followed by the two innovative 5th grade bff's adapting her dress and performing in an amazing band concert.
