The twin towers

When they were younger they were often asked if they were twins, the second born always promptly responded, "we're 14 months apart"

When they were 3 and 4 they would come into my bedroom to cuddle in the middle of the night and I would say, "which one are you?"

In grade school they were called the twin towers (cool now, not then).

These days they couldn't look more different yet still look just like sisters. A fluke mishap where they dressed alike on Valentines reminded me how much they have changed.

And I love watching them grow up together.
