Chihuly

It is often said that locals don't experience or know what is going on in their home town. So, last week when Amy sends me an email with a link to the Chihuly exhibit the Desert Botanical Gardens with a "can we go?", I responded heck yeah (and quickly did research to figure out what it was).
.
It was so flipping cool (cool as in awesome, not temperature cool since we only lasted a little over an hour in the way too hot Arizona heat).
.
Glass blown artwork in the middle of the desert (this is educational and non-commercially reported). For the locals, I would highly reccommend. For the non-locals worth a trip.

That is so very cool! I would love to see that if I'm ever there in non-summer months again.

My neighbor is the head horticulturalist for the DBG. I have been there a couple times, but I get so irritable in the heat.

I don't remember the glass balls. Interesting.

I have meant to go since it opened. I keep putting it off. I better get going. It looks better than I thought. Mom

This is great!! It reminds me of the Corning Glass Mesuem in Corning NY. You can blow your very own glass balls!!
