Meeting Breeja

MJM is on the school newspaper this year. She had a huge opportunity to have dinner with and interview an Olympic medalist.

Breeja Larson is a Mountain View alumni who only started swimming competitively 3 years ago. MJM dutiful prepared her questions and made it through her nerves to complete the interview.

When I asked what surprised her most, she said that she gave up so much to go to Mountain View (she lived with her aunt and uncle not able to stay with her 5 sisters in Boise, ID). The other surprise was that she "only" swims 4 hours a day and is super nice.

I can't wait to see the final article.

Ps she is now an aggie :)
