In and Out

As shocking as it may be, I did break a 20 year spell and have a hamburger (In and Out less), as further shocking as it may be this post is not about my eating it. It is about the culture and "secret menu". If you think ordering at Starbucks is difficult, you haven't hung out with Southern California people who start spewing the an odd language that isn't even on the menu.
So breaking news:
Double Meat, Grilled Cheese, 3x3, Protein Style, 4x4, Animal Style, Brick
So since it is all about me here is the animal style consumed by me

Grilled cheese would have been nice to know 1989-2009

many comments...

(1) they should have provided secret menu training before rolling out In and Out in AZ

(2) my dad had his 1st In&Out last week

(3) despite my repeated reminders to get his fries animal style, he didn't because that wasn't on the menu ;)

(4) he compared the burger to Wendy's, which I found slightly disappointing

Ever since my dad and sister Jenn introduced me to animal style while I was in CA years ago I can't order it any other way! I do get it without the onions though - weird I know but they still put extra sauce and extra pickles on it. Get the fries animal style - sooooo good!

I wish I could have one right now!!! It really sucks having to drive 3 hours to get my In and Out fix.
