It's the Economy Stupid

For weeks I have been annoyed at the media's reporting of the terrible economy. People are still spending money and the parking lots are full. Sunday at 945 when I arrived at Costco (which opens at 1000) their was at least 60 people in line waiting.

Either there is a whole group of people looking for food sample instead of the church potluck on a Sunday morning or just maybe the money is being pumped into retail (hmmmmm at an average of $300 per consumer).

It's a good thing we elected a new president to help the economy.

I've thought the same thing while shopping lately. The parking lots and traffic are unreal already. Either people are afraid inventories will be low so they are shopping early or they are doing a lot of comparative shopping to see what the great deals might be. Just to be safe, we are cutting back on our spending this year. Auntie Em

Hum, very interesting. I know people are spending less, people are losing their jobs but people do seem to be every where I go - spending away. But, maybe we better cut back. How else are we going have the money to pay back billions of dollars in bail outs? I don't see how they can ever get paid. Mom

Comment totally not related to the topic... but is your Highlighted Photograph showing that your daughter's team name is the "Ferocious Butterflies"? I bet a ferocious butterfly is one scary creature! :) Too cute!
