I read somewhere years and years ago that people will reach over the stall door and grab a purse hanging from the hook over the door and you, of course are sitting there literally with your pants down and unable to run after, hence putting the hook out of reach...Or, you can wrap the strap around the hook or make some other way to make it challenging to grab and run.
