Thanks Queen B, This reminds of the 25K the roots of a tree down the street cost me last year when I had to dig up the street. Ahhh, the beauty of roots.
they are pretty cool
Even when they wreck your foundation, they still serve a purpose. The tree is still dependent on its roots whatever which way they go.
