Exclusive (BTW I am down 14 pounds)

Is there any girl that was not cursed by Oprah's big reveal in 1988? Those super tight jeans (look awful highwaisted now) following weeks of a liquid diet. Millions followed with little long term success.

No different than her book club, women follow her advice and I am sure there is a large (words used strategicall) group of women that wants to know what is Oprah's diet. I laughed so hard I cried when I saw this article in People. HOW WILL OPRAH LOSE WEIGHT IN 2009. Please do share, did eating healthy with your personal chef and working out with your personal trainer not work?

She looks like a bobble-head in '88. :)

You're down 14 lbs? Where did you lose it? Seriously, I don't think you need to lose 14 lbs. Are you ok? ;)

I don't think the high waisted jeans are that awful looking. I saw a sight last week at the airport I could have lived without. She was a young mother & not overweight either. As I said in an earlier blog - if you wear low waisted jeans/pants it should be mandatory to wear a body suit too...Hopefully Oprah & everyone else will change our eating to a healthier life style than DIET. Guess I'll get off my soap box. Auntie Em

I'm with aunt emily. Until we start making small changes everyday and commit to a lifetime of health we are destined to a roller coaster of weight. If diets worked no new diets would be made and everyone would not need to go on a new one. The key is to eat a little bit less each day and exercise a little bit more and then loving our bodies no matter where its at.
Now ill get off my soap box :)

The 1992 picture is my favorite.

My philosophy (though I definitely need to lose 20+ pounds) is everything in moderation.

it's the life-long commitment part that's hard.

How did you lose the 14 pounds? Perhaps you could help Oprah.

You so beat me to this post. I was talking Striker last week and somehow we commented on Oprah's weight roller coaster. I said that if I was the richest woman in the world and had a personal chef and trainer I'd be in super shape! And then this magazine arrived in my mailbox and I laughed hysterically!
