One of these things is not like the other

And as a side note Tarzan picked out everyone's feet. Except the not like the other. In his defense however, it was this three letter gentleman's first blog appearance.

Earlier this week Alice sent out a group text to me and the other mothers in the Young family with the following quiz TV Mom Quiz (side note I love these group text messages. It gives a great opportunity to catch up with each other and see the wit of other family members. Additional side note buzz feed always make for good entertainment).

Damn iCloud

Prior to the iPhone I was not a games person (outside of scrabble). I have found peace in an activity to do on the plane versus doing email.

Not peaceful last night was when I got a new iPhone and iCloud didn't work.

Had to reload all

And moved from level 266 to level 1

Captured moments

Going through the pics from last week (the busiest family/friends week in a long time). These below are some of my favorites. The non-posed ones; a glance here, a hidden hugs, a training moment. These captured moments show true genuine love for each other.

If you chance to meet at frown

Every so often the song in my head is "if you chance to meet a frown". If you are really lucky then I will even make a prop (usually a plate, with a marker) and sing the full song. If you are even luckier than I will sing the full song and let it get video'ed. For those lucky few - you know what I am talking about (or if you are Amy we likely sang this in seminary together).

When I was at the Scripps museum all I could think of was: These fish need to turn there frown upside down

The secret ingredient

Sometimes guacamole is tasty because of jalapeños. Sometimes the extra salt. Sometimes the lime juice.

At times it can be tasty since it's made with partnership and love.

Born as an a Aquarian she has always been my water baby. I believe this is where her love of the mermaid comes from.

Symbolic of letting our hearts and our passion overrule the analytical mind. Sometimes the stuff we are attracted to doesn't have to make sense - and it's ok to be captured by odd, otherworldly music.

My wish for you Mir Joy is that you keep this passion and as you mature into a young woman you show the beauty, grace and mesmerizing melodies of this charming sea creature.
