Cousin Memories
Nothing was more amazing growing up that creating and keeping holiday traditions alive. My mom did amazing job helping us etch these memories into our soul. Cousins played such a big part of this and we all learned from each others similarities and differences.
This Thanksgiving the focus was on helping solidify those memories for our kids. Family pictures, swimming and water gun fights (yes I know it is November, they didn't seem to mind - especially Daria), gingerbread house making, nail painting, basketball games, Cousin Camp (orchestrated by the most creative Aunt Tami), christmas gift exchange (CEM wins the prize for the best face when she got her One Direction CD), Nutcracker (including a "backstage tour"), hide/seek, and lots of time together.
The biggest compliment came from Raea - "I think we should do this every year!"
An amazing holiday with an amazing family.

These boots were made for walking.....
Yesterday CEM suggested that we all dress up for the nutcracker. All 3 girls (REM would have nothing to do with the ballet crap and stayed behind with her cool twin Ruth) dressed appropriately and wound up in boots.
I originally planned on a post about the fashion prowess that we all picked boots. Then I saw the picture.

Midnight Madness
MJM was desperate to go to the Midnight Madness portion of Black Friday at Chandler Mall. She asked several people to attend this event with her and Diane said yes. Last minute I decided to go. I am happy to report that we will never being doing this again. I will shop in bed from eBay and MJM will shop during the day.
Please not that the group photo was taken to show the crazy crowd and was done before the stampede where I saved a girls life, the bloody forehead of a girl patron and before the verbal altercation that occurred between me and the with the trashy moronic boys that were behind us.
