The other day I was reading through a catalog and discovered the craziest purse, I took a picture of it to blog since I was in absolute shock that the purse made out of seat belts would actually get sold out. I had completely forgotten I had this gem in my photo archives until last week when on the airplane the women in front of me was exiting with this treasure.

I did my very best to give sympathy since I am not apart of this club. Those that are apart of the social club tell me it is the worst pain ever.

Key chain

I don't have key chains on any of my vehicles. The size doesn't make it conducive to putting in my pocket or any other personal space that is not a purse.

So imagine my annoyance having a key chain this large with a blaring nag sitting next to met on visual range while renting a car.

The Shirt | The Story

So Kim found this super cool shirt with Eddie Bauer. We both planned and discussed how we would get one for each one of the HCBC. We could have a "uniform" that wasnt IT blue, we could take photos all over the country, we could bond with a simple green shirt.

And then it went on sale.

And then I went on a honeymoon.

And then I posted about the shirt.

And then I went to purchase the shirt.
.
And then I discovered the shirt was sold out online, and in 8 other stores in 3 states.

And so now it is a Charlotte Russe shirt, and if you dont have one soon you will :)

Ghost Armor

This is Bassim and the new Iphone. He is my friend. He sells Ghost Armor. He is Kim's friend. Everytime Kim gets a new phone or drops it in water he protects her phone from a lesser evil than water. He protects it from scratches when she drops it. I only dropped mine once. It was in the bathroom.

Artic Circle

A Utah trip is not complete without a trip to Artic Circle (we made two trips). Greasy fries, special sauce and toppers.

A new HCBC tradition in the making.......

Many of the HCBC love the color green (or if they dont they just all honor Andrea Braun by wearing it). So, Eddie Bauer has this great shirt (perfect for the beach according to Kim) that I wore while vacationing.

Pickle Ice Cream

No one in our home will ever forget when Kim gave CEM pickle ice cream. Somehow though the taste was forgotten. What follows is CEM convincing REM that it tastes good.

A mothers love

While I was vacationing I posted about skipping third grade. In the post I tributed my father for his efforts in pushing the school to put me in an advanced grade.



This monumental event that literally shaped my entire life is in fact due to the incredible love a mother has for her daughter. While my father educated and pushed me to do more, learn more, be more. It was my mom who was on the doorsteps of the school, my teachers and the principal to take me from the desk in the secluded in the back of the second grade room (placed there by Mr Brown to keep the others students from cheating off my papers) to the desk in the front of Mr Karen's fourth grade class room.



Mom, I love you and stand very much corrected. You are my hero forever and always!

Making our guests happy

During the weekend of the wedding their were 18 people who stayed at my Hotel Laurel House. I wanted everyone close and enjoyed every minute I got to spend with people from CA to DC.

,

No one really followed the bathroom schedule and we went through 45 towels (yes I counted when they were washed).

.

The one negative feedback for all who stayed at HLH was that it was too warm. Even with the AC on apparently I do not have my personal space as chilly as others.

.

So to my 18 friends and family (especially the 3 inhabitants of the guest bedroom): HLH has offically upgraded.

.

The family room now requires CEM and I to wear sweaters and the first user of the guest bedroom gave it "5 thumbs up if that were possible"

Oh it drives me crazy that she is growing up so quick. The other day at the pool I'll I could do was take one photo after another and stare at those long old legs
