Brittney loves to sing. And I love hearing her sing. There is always a packed house for the Jr High recitals. Where I see her glow and thrive in the new Broadway song she is belting out or a new language she learned in the form of music.
What I don't love is attending the concert with her sibling, 7 years younger. Attention span goes out the window when its a song she doesnt know. And songs that are a foreign language? That is all she wrote.
The difference 7 years makes? Eldest child: Vivace Vocalist. Youngest child: Bored too tears

ReplyDeleteWe attended Miranda's orchestra concert last night. It lasted 1 1/2 hours. Way too long for her brothers ages 9 and 5. I think I will go alone next time and leave all the boys home including my husband.
