I used to dye everything I could find. It was one way to turn old clothes into a true treasure. What a great memory when I came upon the boxes at the local Wal-Mart (still at a great price).And sorry mom for not running an empty cycle and turning your whites a pretty color of pink after a red dye job.

LOL I love Rit Dye and I used to dye my clothes too! I have been known to turn my moms laundy different colors on accident. So funny!

When I fall in love with navy or brown cotton (dockers) slacks that fade with age I just buy rit dye and brighten them up. It's hard to find a pair of pants to fit me so I would rather pay the $1.50 than to spend hours trying on a pair that will fit again... I know to run the washer again after I'm done. Auntie Em
