For Christmas I got a new waffle maker with removal plates (for ease of wash). This morning I finally opened it. While the unit was warming up I read the IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS and SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS..
My favorite is as follows:
A. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks presented by a long cords such as entanglement and tripping.
Damn how would you like to have been the lawyer in that case?
that is quite the excuse for skimping on the cord length ;) tripping over a waffle iron cord... that seems difficult to picture!
ReplyDeletethat is so funny
ReplyDeletefunny...I thought the risk of waffle-ironing the cord would be the reason for the shortness. Guess thats what I get for thinking.
ReplyDeleteI have responded on my blog.....
ReplyDeleteI am with Paula on this one, tripping and entanglement from a long cord I don't get, but cooking the cord is, or they are just cheap and want a short cord!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone waffled a body part while tripping and becoming entangled in the cord.
