MJM's summer has ended

The number one question in August was "Where is MJM going to school"

I am proud to let everyone know that she is going to Scottsdale Community College.  Today she has her nursing orientation.  I couldn't have been a prouder mom when I got the call that she loved the nursing lab and had met some cool people.  Classes start on Monday :)

She is an amazing young lady!!!

Watch her grow!!!!

(and I was informed that outfits dont matter now.  Sigh)

Tonight we were watching CMT Crossroads featuring Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves.

Now that is two talented chicks!!!! I have loved Katy for a while.  Now that she has introduced me to Kacey (who ps has a birthday tomorrow) I am officially part if her fan club.

In the streets of Chicago (ok in the sidewalk of Chicago.  I felt this had to be clarified in light of numerous news stories of people coming upon sudden death when not paying attention to their surroundings during selfie portraits) the ambulatory team aimed for a selfie of 9.

While very willing to participate the naysayer in the group wound up with only one eye in the photo (so I made him admit we were right that it could be done-this is my public apology that had we used my iPhone only he may have indeed been right)

While the lighting is not as good we did get the whole group with the lifesize samsung phone.

We are clearly not as good as Teller-but mission accomplished !

My first words

I didn't speak for a long time.  As a second born the first will often do all the talking for you.  Apparently I let Tami take the lead.  

When I did decide to speak my first word(s) was "I want candy" (I need to validate with my mother, but I think this sentence was said at the dentist office).

I don't know if it's because I haven't had candy in a while, if it's because I cane upon fiddle faddle today or if I'm just craving sugar at the moment.  Here some (in order of preference) my favs front that era
