JennAnn tagged me at 709 am. Unfortunately on was on an international call surrounded by 12 of my peers. So, immediately following the meeting I took the photo (thanks for playing!!).

1. Notice projector in one hand and lap top bag in the other

2. How much do I love my hair today?

3. Yes, I did go to the bathroom before I took the picture because the bladder couldnt wait

It must be Spring

A picture is worth a 1000 words

HCBC you have been tagged.

Here are the rules of the tag:

1. Take a picture of yourself right now.

2. Do not edit the picture in ANY WAY!

3. Upload it to your blog.

4. Tag as little or as many people as you want.

5. Have fun!

(So, who ever reads this first text me - I will then do my picture)

3 Guesses

Give up?
This is my parents house guest's alarm clock.
.
Apparently she has a hard time waking up.
.
Solution? Her brother rigged the alarm clock with a smoke detector. The alarm blares throughout the house every morning to call her out of bed. That would last about a second and a half at my house.

Playing with CEM

The benefit of being the youngest child: great 1:1 time with mom. (And mom will break the rules to climb inside the smelly, sweaty, stinky, slimy McDonald's Playland that is meant for 3-12 year olds.).

When you realize you forgot to take the tags off

The helmet was purchased 7 years ago (the only thing that makes this a Flashback Friday) and used by 2 sisters for 4 seasons before it became a hand me down for CEM this season.

Geez!

Found in my pocket

I found this in my pocket of a new pair of shorts. I am wondering if it is a love note or a to do list.

Crime Scene for sure

Yes this bandaid was found in the home of a mother with a girl (hint the girl turned 1 last week, the mother of this child is also the blog mother)

As the mother of all girls my advice is that some Disney princesses find their way into your medicine cabinet.

Moving Moms

A month ago my sister Tami emailed and asked if I wanted to dance at the Phoenix Suns game with her and a group forming called the MOVING MOMS. In a moment of weakness I responded yes.
.
Dancing is her gig. She was the cheerleader, the dance instructor, the one who has danced at both Super Bowls when they were in Phoenix. Me? I'm the Debate Queen. The cute smart girl.
.
The first night of practice I knew I was in trouble. All moms, all experienced dancers, and the 50 something year old choreographer as described by Tami was "delicious".
.
Little did I know how much I would enjoy this experience. Several practices and sore muscles later we performed tonight. Picture this: 17 women in their 20's through 50's dressed in "mom" garb, entrance is to a super mom song - fade in Party People by Nelly and Fergie (of course the clean version). Then 1.5 minutes of white girls doing hip hop. We didnt do too bad.
.
When the video becomes available I will post a link for your entertainment.

Reason number 104 why I hate the Storm

I love my Blackberry Pearl. I do not care for the Storm.
.
Not only is it over rated, difficult to type on, and it takes 6 minutes to boot up. It overheats. What technology guru carries a device that you have to cool down in order to use it. I guess you just cross your fingers and hope there isn't a Sev 1.

Playing Fairies

CEM and I will often play Fairies in the bathtub. This game entails CEM bossing me around telling me what to say to which character. She gets to decide who gets to fly and which fairy is friends versus enemies that day.

So last week she wanted to play. I talked her out of playing in the tub and playing in the kitchen instead. I knew the game was over and must return to the tub when she wanted to have a fashion shoot for each of the girls.

Happy Easter!!!

How lonely can one be?

Summer is coming

As a new TV watcher, last summer I watched the DVD sets for Heroes and Lost.

I am now officially a TV watcher with more shows on my tivo then I know what to do with (24, criminal minds, lie to me, nip/tuck, house, heroes, lost, American idol, leverage, burn notice)

I am looking for reccommendations for this summer when the TV season goes quiet (I am starting to feel panic when the tivo is empty).

24 for sure is getting watched and I am thinking Sopranos or Grey's Anatomy. Since its a huge time commitment I would love the thoughts of this esteemed group.

If you are looking for a show to get hooked on choose Burn Notice -honestly the best show on TV.

ickk we're sick

REM and I have been sick on the couch for two days. She has been in my pj,s and both of us cuddled in our own blankets.

Yesterday before leaving for school CEM comes up to REM and touches her forehead. When they make eye contact CEM says, "not you" then comes to me and says, "bye mom, love you".

If you watch House you will care

Or you may even care even if you don't watch it.

Odd Episode.

So tonight on House they killed off the one of the main characters. They made it so real that at the end of the show they listed a link to his obituary.

So I checked it out. Is he dead in real life or not???????

Not just an obit. but a memorial of Dr Lawrence Kutner for all the fans.

Odd.

RIP

The importance of the Proper Angle

This post was orginally going to be titled Strawberry Crush (and really who buys Strawberry soda). However after the first picture was taken it was very quickly changed to The importance of the Proper Angle. (10 years younger and thinner too).
