Dumb Ads Annoy Me

Ok, really. I use Edge shaving cream and all of a sudden the scent creates a spraying of green people up my nostrils that turn out to be hot chicks dancing in my nose. Really?

Blogger tip

Last December after I was done painting my house with several gallons of different color paint left over Grant suggested that I save the paint in canning jars. His justification that with the different colors it is super easy to access and fix wall dings.

Best advice ever! Have touched up walls with ease and no stress. Thanks Grant!!

I love Bartoli's

For years I have gone to the $1.99 Dy Cleaners (I have bene going for so long that when I started it was the $1.35 Dry Cleaners).

Two visists ago I decided I needed a company that paid more attention (you know over starched shirts, one or two shirts lost etc.)

Megan referred me to Bartoli's.
.
The first visit was so good (and by the way it only cost $2.12 per shirt). That I took 22 shirt (don't even ask) yesterday.
.
About an hour after I dropped off my stuff I get the following call:
.
"Hi this is Susan from Bartoli's you just dropped off a bunch of stuff (oh no did I leave my work badge)" "I was noticing that the seam is coming out on the jacket, would you like me to fix it?" " An I see that you are missing a button, we can fix that too" "See you on Tuesday"

I am so in love, what the heck have I been missing all these years?

For 11 hours today I got to play Sr Leader to David's Manager on Duty. The journey documented in photographs shows 2 conference calls at once, great stress (note at this point in the Sev 1 the glasses get removed), to amusement (or is that just slap happy), finalized with the relief that Keri-Ann now owns it.

Donner Pass

January 2007 Kim and I braved the Donner pass from Reno to Sacramento. Prepared with our new Pearls and not much else we captured the best pic ever. Not only did this become the background photo for the pearls but became one of the proof that great minds think alike. I miss Reno.

Phineas and Ferb

Disney Channel usually gets it right on. Phineas and Ferb is a Jessica favorite. I have to admit, I just dont get it. The worst part is that I think there is only 4 episodes that just get repeated over and over. This one below is one that every household member and name off the lines before they are said. Not good

Oh, in case you haven't had the privledge here is the executive summary. Phineas and Ferb invites their friends over for a comet show and steaks. There are no steaks but they all make a wish and the steaks come filing out of the air. The annoying sister's wish has nothing to do with steaks but comes true in the end.

Safety First

This weeekend while driving home Britney called out, mom you have to get that pic! I look at the car right in front of me and realized how funny it was.

This motion shot was not easy to get (ya know the whole fear of rear ending a van with its back open and a human sitting where my head lights would be).

Are you Sassier than a First Grader?

Jessica's bed broke. She will tell you that mom did it (I slept in it about 4 times) or that Kim did it (she slept in it about 10 times).

Yesterday she decided to confront the two who alledgedly broke the bed. There was no leeway she angrily told me that she was sad that I broke it. Then she called Kim. For 4 minutes she paced the room with Kim on speaker phone chastizing her for "jumping on her bed" and for "not taking good care of the bed".

The wood has been replaced and anyone now uses the bed wont get the same verbal slapping.

BTW: As I sit here writing this blog Jessica squeezes in with playhouse disney blaring. She says I'm trying to relax here. Then she looks to my computer and says, "Why are you putting that on the blog? You didn't ask my permission"
