Hilton cares
So I walked into the Hilton yesterday and saw ear plugs on the dresser. An odd accessory I thought since Hilton is so stingy about their other give aways (in some markets they don't even give conditioner any more replaced by "conditioning shampoo" only).
In the bathroom they have details about the recycling program.
It wasn't until much later that I saw the noise disclaimer. Either Hilton cares, or noise is a real problemQ

When Puma isn't an animal
Sometimes as couples age they start to look alike.
Sometimes they just wear similar shoes.

Only in Florida
I am terrible at mailing. I think I need a gator mailbox, this way I can blame the packages that didn't get mailed on
"It went in and went out" or "My aligator ate it"
I wonder if the utility company would buy it.....

Happy Fathers Day
He interrogated my boyfriends and interviewed girlfriends (ok he scared them all). His investigative techniques have given me the innate ability to get people to open up and talk.
My dad is honestly the coolest person I know: conservative, independent, brilliant.
And he has a soft side.

Outside my window
Last night I was remarkably impressed with the view outside my hotel window in Cincinnati. As just about anyone knows I always have a song in my head and went to bed with a version of "Outside My Window" in my head. Problem is I only knew half of the chorus. This was a troubling way to fall asleep, even more so waking up to this partial song in my head.
I googled the lyrics this am. What I didn't realize was how sad every version of this song is. Not at all how I was feeling after I saw the cool skyline.
Morning view not as cool, maybe it matched the lyrics better.
Song in my head changed quickly thereafter to "I'm going home" (which on American Idol is very sad bit great news for me today)
