Half of 44 is 22

Today for Tarzan's i5i5 (get it IV IV) birthday we went sport fishing on the coast of California Baja del Sur).

I sacrificed my ball cap (Bass Pro circa 1972) to the Sea Gods and in return they bestowed him with the catch if the day: a 6.5 foot pilot shark. We took some great photos and returned him safely in the waters near Cabo San Lucas.

I caught a 3 ft dorado/mahi-mahi that we took some great photos of before (and after) he was enjoyed for Tarzan's birthday dinner.

The most relaxing, remote, customer service focused resort I have ever been to. Life is grand (no fishing yet due to high winds :()

I miss Alice

Today walking into Stapley pool I noticed they are now carrying Bear Essential News.

Back in the day Alice was a kid content writer/contributor and I was the adult advisor.

Best part was our press passes, and interviewing odd people (even one Guy who was a weird hoarder before this main streamed)

In with the new....

As someone who tosses everything I do think it is odd that I have saved all my eyewear since 2006. Especially since 2006 was rarely photographed.

I am happy to report that 2010 will find a safe place as I transition to 2011. The rest will be exiting the home.

In other news, the contacts I am trialing appear to be wearable. Maybe 2012 will bring photography sans glasses (or secretly held in my hand).
