Browning Brunch

It is do funny how you grow up and time gets away from you. Days quickly turn into years and before you know it a catch up brunch with one of your dearest cousins and her hot smart mom turns into 4 hours of the best Sunday morning ever.

Day at Disneyland

MJM and I spent our birthday at Disneyland. Pixie dust got us in an hour early. Mickey and over a 100 friends at the park gave us birthday greetings.

Tarzans bff picked us up and my bff joined us in the afternoon and took us back to the airport.

One of the best birthday memories (for both of us )

like you've never done befora.

Okay, that's good you're finished;

now you can take a break.

You've finally burned enough calories

We will forever love you Jan!!!!!

After High School there are very few people I kept in contact with. (Pre-Facebook it wasnt easy). For 20 years Jan was the best card sender (Christmas, birthday, Congratulations, etc. ), great emailer and random phone checks.

We talked about getting together forever and finally in May she and Jason came to Arizona for the wedding.

I will forever thank God for the wisdom to allow this to happen. The ability to really know the grown up Jan in the last 8 months of her life was a gift that I will always cherish. Honestly one of the smartest women I know, great commonalities, a kind loving wife/sister/friend and a hell of a fighter!

Jan, passed away Saturday at the age of 40. Rest in Peace -see you on the other side.

We are part of a monthly dinner club. The only rule is to try at least one new recipe.

The group has been requesting Middle East for a while since this is Tarzan's roots.

After a full day of cooking and help from Isam at the Middle East deli in Phoenix we pulled off an incredible feast.

On the menu
